Experience:

9/22 - Current

Student Administrative Assistant, University of Colorado - Denver, Co

In my current role I serve as the student administrative assistant for the Chairs of the Architecture Board for the University of Colorado - College of Architecture and Planning. I work closely with the board to complete task such as graphic communication, logistics, and inventory. I use the skills that I have learned throughout my professional career as well as my undergraduate studies to set smart goals, foster student engagement, and help our board to complete creative and administrative tasks quickly and in a high quality fashion.

4/18 - 3/20

Operations Manager, Hotel Indigo - Denver, Co

In this operational role I expanded my level of experience into hospitality. I over saw the daily operations of Hearth & Dram, a fine dining whiskey bar featuring over six hundred whiskeys, bourbon, and scotches and an executively driven scratch menu. Hearth & Dram is located within the Hotel Indigo, a downtown boutique hotel with 180 guest rooms and banquet spaces. I oversaw the beverage and inventory programs, room service, payroll processing for the F&B department, cost management, and execution of large-scale banquets and buyouts. I was responsible for hiring, staffing, and training our team averaging one hundred employees at any given time, and achieving a high level guest experience through coaching and systems development. During my time here, we were ranked “People’s Choice - Best Burger” at the 2018 and 2019 Denver Burger Battle.

12/16 - 1/18

General Manager, Neighborhood Restaurant Group - Merrifield, Va

My time at NRG allowed me the opportunity to build upon my previous experiences and responsibilities as general manager while overseeing two restaurants. Red Apron Butcher, is a fast casual concept with a full-service butcher counter and grocery retail space. B-side, located next door, is a gastropub with a turntable and huge record collection, seasonally rotating shareable scratch menu, craft cocktails, and a selection of over two hundred beers that change almost every day. I learned about full animal butchery and hand making charcuterie, ethically sourcing local foods, formulating seasonal menus, product-mix analysis, payroll processing, social media marketing, and reimagined the training materials and experience for successful operations. During my time here, B-side was ranked “No.7 Best Restaurant” by Northern Virginia Magazine (2017) and nominated for “Best Beer Program” category by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (2017.)

8/13 - 12/16

General Manager, Noodles & Company - Northern Virginia/ Gaithersburg, Md

In my first general manager position I gained a great deal of experience developing and overseeing a management team, delegating responsibilities and setting expectations based on current company and location-specific goals, and flowing up for results. Creating work-flow infrastructure, schedule management, overseeing proper financial record keeping, inventory control, profit loss reporting including labor and sales metrics, guest experience feed-back data, and H.A.C.C.P management and record keeping. I maintained my locations’ facilities, cleanliness, and equipment. If necessary; oversaw contractors to ensure project completion. I built business through consistent catering opportunities, community involvement, and grass-roots marketing tactics. I have overseen that multiple product launches and new store openings were executed successfully. I had the opportunity to co-manage volunteer catering services at the 2017 White House Easter Egg Roll.
